Mr. Murtada Al-Bayli, Secretary General of the Al-Jazeera State Government, inaugurated the restart of the water station at the Preparatory Complex of Al-Jazeera University following the installation of a solar energy system. Al-Bayli renewed the state’s commitment to fully normalizing life by providing security along with water, electricity, health, and education services, and announced that the next phase will see a package of reconstruction and sustainable development projects across all fields.
Engineer Nizar Mohammed Hamed from the State Water Authority explained that the Preparatory station supplies water to the Madani Public Prison, Al-Qashlaq neighborhood, various buildings, Madani Educational Hospital, the judges’ residences, and the airport district. Meanwhile, Engineer Abu Bakr Abdullah, Director General of the Ministry of Urban Planning and Municipalities and the delegated minister, told Suna that the Preparatory station is one of 109 groundwater stations whose attached solar energy units were plundered by the rebel militia, and that the state government has begun restoring them to service at a cost exceeding 1.4 billion Egyptian pounds through state funding.
